  The Thursday, October 15 paint out will be from 10:30am-12:30pm at the NMSU Alumni Pond. This newly restored pond (a sustainable ecosystem in the desert) welcomes visitors to a place of quiet reflection and enjoyment of nature, and of course, enjoyment of painting there. The pond is located just off University and Trivitz, behind the Educational Services building. There are several benches and tables but I suggest you bring a chair in case it’s needed. There are many shaded areas in which to set up

  We meet at 10:30 on the Thursday morning  after the 2nd Sunday of each month:  September - May 

  We always have fun at our paintouts, either sketching, painting, nature journaling and enjoying each other's company! Please join us.

    Holy Cross Retreat Center , 600 Holy Cross Rd, Mesilla Park.

  The Thursday, November 12 paint out will be from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Holy Cross Retreat Center (600 Holy Cross Rd, Mesilla Park.) This is a desert oasis located inside a large pecan grove offering scenic views of the Organ mountains. This park-like setting has a koi  pond, shaded garden areas surrounded by trees, lots of flowers, and  an amazing church building.

  There are a number of parking areas and bathrooms available. There are some benches and shaded seating areas but bring your own chair in case it’s needed. Let’s enjoy painting in this quiet and beautiful oasis.
