Wendy Ahlm

Wendy Ahlm is a New Mexico painter and NMWS member specializing in gouache plein air paintings.

During the meeting, Wendy will demonstrate how she paints with gouache and compare it side-by-side to the same painting in watercolor. She'll explain the differences between the two. Then, she'll reveal a third option that will get you even more excited about this hot new medium.

During the demo, you'll learn about gouache's versatility, its application and viscosities, and discover Wendy's best practices for successful gouache paintings. You'll also get some tips for varnishing and framing with ease.

Wendy is an animated, and experienced artist, brimming with practical tips and info.
