WNMU's Matt Drissell's Change of Art

Matt Drissell, Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing at Western NM University in Silver City, will lead our March program. 

Matt teaches watercolor and encourages his students to submit their work to the WNMU annual student art show. The Southern Chapter Lucia Wilcox Memorial Scholarship Fund provides materials to his classes and a $250 award for best student watercolor.

Matt and his family have moved to New Mexico from the midwest, and his talk will focus on his art practice and how it has changed due to their relocation, and also what he has experienced teaching watercolor to students at WNMU.
