Killdeer eggs in nest done all in WC Pencil.
Watercolor Pencil Technique with Marie Siegrist
Watercolor pencils are a wonderful addition to a watercolorist’s “tool” kit.
The pencils are very versatile in the studio and also handy for field work or travel. For travel they only require the pencils, some paper, a couple of brushes and a small cup for water.
The demonstration will show several techniques using the watercolor pencils. They can be used as an element in a watercolor painting, and for cleaning up edges. They can be used over a pen and ink or graphite drawing, or they can be used as a stand-alone medium to make a complete painting.
Most importantly they are “just plain fun” to use.
Lily and some touches done with WC pencil over watercolor.
We welcome the public to come to our meetings and get to know us and learn about watercolor. Hope to see you there!
