NMWS ABQ Monthly Meeting

HEIGHTS COMMUNITY CHURCH FELLOWSHIP HALL

Given the on-going issues with presentations at the Albuquerque Museum, the April meeting will again be at the Heights Community Church Fellowship Hall, located at Louisiana and Comanche, NE (6935 Comanche NE).

Program:

This month’s program will feature critiques of paintings brought by members. Bud Edmonson and Susan Weeks will provide the feedback. If you are interested in getting this type of expert feedback, bring ONE painting you would like to have critiqued, as well as “thick skin” and a willingness to put yourself out there and LEARN from “the Masters!” and provide an opportunity for the rest of the group to learn from your work as well. The social time will begin at 10:00 with the critique program to follow at 10:30.

An exciting new reason to attend our monthly meetings: an opportunity for a mini critique on a first-come, first-serve basis (by appointment)!!.
This will occur during the social period in a private manner, one-on-one attention for 15 minutes and can include 1-2 paintings. Please be respectful of the time to allow for every artist to have a turn. 10:00-10:15 is the first session and 10:15 –10:30 is the second session.
