ABQ October Paint Out
On Saturday, Karin Pitman is hosting the ABQ October Paint Out.
Not being held the typical week of the month, this month’s NMWS Paintout will be October 21, 2017 at the ABQ BioPark Botanical Garden during “Half-Price Weekend” ($5 adults, $2.75 seniors 65+, $2.50 children 3-12, children under 3 are always free). The event will be a joint event with Albuquerque Urban Sketchers (www.albuquerqueurbansketchers.wordpress.com)... We will meet in the courtyard at 10am. Karin Pitman, NMWS will host this event and do a short watercolor demonstrationsomewhere in the park. The garden should be dressed in lovely fall color this time of year! On Sunday, Karin Cook has invited members to join her for an informal "Paint-In" at the Fine Arts Gallery, to view and sketch or paint these collaborative creations.
