Patsy Blasdell’s three day workshop is suitable for watercolor artists at all levels.  In the workshop Patsy will demo each day beginning with a floral, then an architectural subject, and the last day will explore a still life. There will be a focus overall at the workshop on design and composition with attention on choosing backgrounds so each piece of art is well designed. The use of abstract shapes using light and dark values in patterns so the observer’s eyes travel around the piece of art will be demonstrated.  Time will be allowed to paint while giving individual attention and group discussions.

Minimum: 10 students
Maximum: 12 students

Registration opens January 15, 2017, for members and February 15, 2017  for non-members**

Members register online.  They can pay the full $185 fee online at www.nmwatercolorsociety.org, or they may register online and mail a check (made out to NMWS Southern Chapter) for the full fee to:  8010 Murano Court, Las Cruces, NM 88007. 

**Non-members pay an additional $40 fee; or, they may join the NMWS for $40 and register as a member. Non-members must register directly through Beth Welter with a check mailed to above address. Cancellation: Workshop is limited to 12 students on a first come, first served basis. If you need to cancel after February 27, you will receive a full refund only if your space is re-filled.
