ABQ Board and General Meeting

The January ABQ NMWS monthly meeting will be held on Saturday Morning , January 10, 2014 at the Albuquerque Museum.

Saturday morning, January 10, 2015 - David Vega Chavez Demo - Program 10:30 - noon. The program for January 10th will be award winning artist David Chavez demonstrating watercolor painting on linen. Artists accustomed to painting on paper or Aquabord will find that linen is a surface that responds well to loose and spontaneous brushwork, with fascinating textural effects. David Chavez is known for his landscape paintings of New Mexico and far off lands. Before dedicating himself to painting full time, David was a dancer and choreographer. David will be teaching watercolor classes at the New Mexico Art League in 2015. He is represented by Weems Gallery.
