NMWS Fall Exhibition - Public Painting Demonstration

All members and their guests are invited to the 2014 Fall Exhibition Public Painting Demonstration by our Guest Juror and Workshop Artist. Lian Quan Zhen. This event will be held at the Fine Arts Gallery at our EXPO-NM, State Fairgrounds, on Monday, Sept. 29th, 2014. Enter through Gate # 3, at Copper and San Pedro. Parking may be free.

Please arrive by 6:30 PM. Admission is $5.00 for everyone other than students registered for his workshop. (Please bring cash in the correct amount to facilitate entry and seating)

After refreshments and a brief Business Meeting (counts as the October monthly meeting), Mr. Zhen will be introduced to make remarks and demonstrate his colorful style. For a preview of his work, please click on his website link below.

The NM Watercolor Society Fall Exhibition, judged by Guest Artist Lian Quan Zhen, will be presented at the Fine Arts Gallery on the EXPO-NM Fairgrounds during the month of October, 2014.


All members and the public are invited to the  NMWS Fall Show Opening Reception, 1 to 4 PM on Saturday, October 4, 2013, also in the Fine Arts Gallery. About 115 original watercolor works by NM artists, will be on display and available for purchase.

From October 5th to 26th, the Exhibition will be open from 10AM to 4PM, Thursdays to Sundays, in the Fine Arts Gallery of EXPO-NM. Admission is free.


EXPO-NM Parking charges may apply during special EXPO-NM events, typically on weekends.
