Our Spring Exhibition was once again held in the Shannon Room of the Branigan Cultural Center in downtown Las Cruces, during March of 2010. Jurors/judges for the show were Michael and Victoria Copeland of Alamogordo, NM. They not only juried and judged our show but shared with us some of each of their own personal interests/styles and the criteria by which they judge shows. They also offered critiques to any interested entrant. You may view samples of their work at www.michaelcopelandart.com.
There is a tremendous amount of talent in our group. Only about half of the submitted entries could be chosen by the judges to hang due to space considerations. Six winners were awarded in the judging and a seventh was voted Viewers’ Choice by those attending the reception. All photos on this page are copyrighted by the artists.
